RASPOLUĆENI SVIJET I LJUDSKA IZDRŽLJIVOST

Dva kraja svijeta nisu polovi niti hemisfere, nego bahato bogati i očajno siromašni.

BESECTED WORLD AND MANKIND’S STAMINA

Modern world, no doubt, is more and more bisecting on two. This tension makes the Earth slowly bursting. The two ends of the world are not poles or hemisphere, but rather houghty rich and desperately poor. How are people living in these poles of the world, what are their daily worries, obsessions, longings, passions, hopes!? The documentary renders all that in the way it is, it thinks both poetically and philosophicaly, and introduces it into a fine cinematic game, which always gives more than a simple image of reality. It seems the documentary selection of the FFHN 2017 have gathered exactly those opposites, to put them next to each other in our eyes, and to produce this superior result in us, the deeper thought of the world,
life, reality, far from mere recording or testimony. And to make us all wonder: Is there Beauty, to bring the salvation to this world !?
