Tramontana uzima ono što želi – odjeću, drveće, čamce, pa čak i ljude iz tog kraja, koji žive pod stalnom prijetnjom da će biti odneseni njenom silinom. Ovaj film je lirski portret tog bijesnog vjetra, ispleten iz priča koje su mještani prenosili s generacije na generaciju.
In a remote area of northern Spain, the wind has a name: Tramuntana. Tramuntana takes what it wants – clothes, trees, boats, and the people of the landscape who live with the endless threat of being carried away by its force. This film is a lyrical portrait of this furious wind, woven from the stories passed down by local villagers.
Marti Madaula je umjetnik i filmski reditelj koji živi u Madridu. Njegovi filmovi premijerno su prikazani u Muzeju moderne umjetnosti u Njujorku i na festivalu Visions du Réel. Kao stipendista fondacije „la Caixa“, stekao je dvije magistarske diplome na LUCA Školi umjetnosti i Školi Instituta umjetnosti u Čikagu. Svoja djela izlagao je na međunarodnom nivou i učestvovao u rezidencijama u Centru Pompidou i HKW-u.
Martí Madaula is an artist and filmmaker based in Madrid. His films premiered at MoMA and Visions du Réel. A “la Caixa” fellow, he holds MFAs from LUCA School of Arts and School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He has shown work internationally and joined residencies at Centre Pompidou and HKW.
