Predrag Perišić, dramski pisac, filmski i TV scenarista, završio je Akademiju za pozorište, film, radio i TV, odsjek Dramaturgija u klasi profesora Josipa Kulundžića i Ratka Đurovića. Specijalističke studije završio u Parizu, na Ecole d’art dramatique u klasi profesora Bernarda Dorta. Od 1970. do 2000. godine radio kao dramaturg, urednik i scenarista u RTS-u, a od 1980. do 1990. i glavni i odgovorni urednik Kulturno-zabavnog programa te medijske kuće. Bio je redovni profesor na Katedri za dramaturgiju Fakulteta dramskih umetnosti Beograd za predmet Filmski i TV scenario, a od 2002. do 2007. godine i šef Katedre za Dramaturgiju. Autor je i scenarista više desetina emisija i serija na programima RTS-a, koje su obilježile razvoj i programske inovacije na Radio televiziji Beograd. Pored rada na Televiziji, Perišić je i uspješan dramski pisac i filmski scenarista. Kao autor potpisuje scenarije za više filmova, među kojima nagrađivani Ljubavni život Budimira Trajkovića (1976) u režiji Dejana Karaklajića, Rad na određeno vreme u režiji Milana Jelića, Nije lako sa muškarcima reditelja Mihajla Vukobratovića, Senke uspomena reditelja Predraga Velinovića. Perišić je radio na TV seriji Policajac sa Petlovog brda u režiji Mihajla Vukobratovića, a po njegovom scenariju snimljena je i serija Od danas do sutra Ive Laurenčića. Autor je brojnih dramskih djela igranih u više srpskih pozorišta, među kojima: Strah i nada Nadežde Mandeljštam, Život i priključenije vojnika Ivana Čonkina, Heroji. Autor je romana Senke uspomena, zbirke scenarija Prizori iz svakodnevnog života i dvije knjige kratkih priča, Smehom protiv straha i Boli me duša. Godinama je stalni saradnik lista Politika, u kojem objavljuje kratke priče.
Predrag Perisic, playwright, film and TV screenwriter, graduated from the Academy for Theatre, Film, Radio, and Television, Department of Dramaturgy, in the class of Professors Josip Kulundzic and Ratko Djurovic. He completed his specialist studies in Paris at the École d’art dramatique, in the class of Professor Bernard Dort. From 1970 to 2000, he worked as a dramaturge, editor, and screenwriter at the Radio Television of Serbia, and from 1980 to 1990, he was also the Editor-in-Chief of the Cultural and Entertainment Programme at the same media outlet. He was a full professor at the Department of Dramaturgy at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, teaching Film and TV Screenwriting, and from 2002 to 2007, he served as Head of the Department of Dramaturgy. He is the author and screenwriter of dozens of programmes and series broadcast on RTS, which played a significant role in the development and programming innovations of Radio Television Belgrade. In addition to his work in television, Perisic is a successful playwright and film screenwriter. He wrote screenplays for several films, including the award-winning Beloved Love (1976) directed by Dejan Karaklajic, Part-Time Work directed by Milan Jelic, It Isn’t Easy to Get Along With Men directed by Mihajlo Vukobratovic, and Shadows of Memories directed by Predrag Velinovic. Perisic also worked on the TV series The Policeman from the Cock’s Hill directed by Mihajlo Vukobratovic, and the series From Today till Tomorrow directed by Ivo Laurencic was based on his script. He is the author of numerous plays performed in several Serbian theatres, including Fear and Hope of Nadezhda Mandelstam, The Life and Extraordinary Adventures of Private Ivan Chonkin, and Heroes. He also authored the novel Shadows of Memories, a collection of screenplays titled Scenes from Everyday Life, and two books of short stories, Laughing Against Fear and My Soul Hurts. For years, he has been a regular contributor to the newspaper Politika, where he publishes short stories.
