Natalie Cubides-Brady is a filmmaker with a visual arts background working at the intersection of documentary and fiction. She is fascinated by the relationship between landscape, time and memory. Her previous short hybrid documentary, Beyond the North Winds, about the legacy of a decommissioned nuclear reactor in Scotland, was selected for Visions du Reel, Karlovy Vary, Edinburgh and Sundance London. It won Best Short Screenplay at Poitiers Film Festival and was nominated for an IDA Documentary award and Best British Short by the London Critics Circle. Another of her films, After the Silence, was shortlisted for a Grierson.
