Nakon sudske presude, četvorogodišnji Adam je hospitalizovan zbog neuhranjenosti. Lusi, glavna medicinska sestra, dozvoljava Adamovoj majci da ostane duže od sudski propisanih sati za posjete. Following a court ruling, four-year-old Adam is hospitalised for malnutrition. Lucy, the head nurse, allows Adam’s mother to stay past the court-mandated visiting hours. Complications ensue when the mother, once again, refuses to leave her son’s bedside. For the sake of the child, Lucy will do anything to help this mother in distress.
Laura Vandel je belgijska filmska rediteljka i scenaristkinja. Debitovala je sa dugometražnim filmom „Igralište“ 2021. godine – dramom koja prati život sedmogodišnje djevojčice koja se bavi svijetom djece i odraslih. „Igralište“ je premijerno prikazano na Filmskom festivalu u Kanu 2021. godine, gdje se takmičio za nagradu „Zlatna kamera“ za najbolji prvi igrani film, osvojivši nagradu FIPRESCI. 2025. godine, Laurin drugi dugometražni film „Adamovo zdravlje“ sa Leom Draker i Anamarijom Vartolomei u glavnim ulogama, je imao svjetsku premijeru na Filmskom festivalu u Kanu 2025. godine u sekciji „Nedelja kritike“.
Laura Wandel is a Belgian film director and screenwriter. She made her feature-length debut in 2021 with ‘Playground’, a drama film following the life of a seven-year-old girl dealing with the children’s and adult’s worlds. ‘Playground’ premiered at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival, where it competed for the Caméra d’Or award for best first feature film, winning the FIPRESCI Prize. In 2025, Wandel’s second feature ‘Adam’s Interest’ starring Léa Drucker and Anamaria Vartolomei will have its world premiere at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival in the Critics’ Week section.
