38. Filmski festival Herceg Novi – Montenegro Film Festival biće održan od od 23. do 29. avgusta, a najznačajniji filmski događaj ljeta publici donosi više od 60 ostvarenja u tri takmičarske selekcije i revijalnim programima, pod sloganom „Sve boje filma“.
Posjetioci FFHN-a imaće priliku da pogledaju značajna filmska ostvarenja koja su obilježila prvih osam mjeseci ove godine i da steknu uvid, u aktuelna kretanja evropske i svjetske kinematografije, istakao je selektor selekcije igranog filma u okviru FFHN, Vuk Perović.
Svečano otvaranje festivala zakazano je za 23. avgust od 21 čas na Kanli kuli, nakon čega Festival otvara domaći film, koji u Herceg Novi stiže sa svjetske premijere -Vidra, reditelja Srđana Vuletića i scenariste Stefana Boškovića ,koji je međunarodnu pažnju privukao još u fazi razvoja, osvojiviši Eurimages nagradu na Cinelinku, priznanje The Best Pitch na WEMW i izborom za Cinnefondation program Cannes L’Atelier festivala u Kanu.
Bašta Kuće nobelovca Iva Andrića biće mjesto susreta sa dokumentarnim filmovima iz cijelog svijeta, koje je selektovao reditelj Vladimir Perović.
Nova generacija autora predstaviće svoje radove u selekciji studentskog filma, koja se ove godine održava na novoj lokaciji – u Starom gradu, na Trgu Mića Pavlovića, uz selektorski potpis rediteljke Sare Stijović.
Posebnu pažnju izaziva nova selekcija nazvana TV niša, ove godine revijalna, u okviru koje će biti prezentovana najnovija ostvarenja u produkciji televizijskih serija i održana takmičarska sesija mladih crnogorskih autora.
Program Kino Evropa, kao i filmovi Mreže festivala Jadranske regije, biće prikazivani u dvorani „Park“.
Na tvrđavi Forte mare publika će moći da uživa u specijalnim projekcijama posvećenim legendama: „Buka“ – filmski portret virtuoza bubnja Dragoljuba Đuričića, „Vude, ti si pobijedio“ – o životnom i umjetničkom putu oskarovca, reditelja, scenariste, animatora i profesora Dušana Vukotića i „Haustor“ o istoimenom, kultnom muzičkom sastavu.
Jedna od specijalnih projekcija rezervisana je i za dokumentarni film “Stanić, Stoljeće”, o velikom slikaru Voju Staniću, u režiji Andra Martinovića.
Projekcije u Kući nobelovca Ive Andrića i na Trgu Mića Pavlovića su besplatne.

Online ticket sales for screenings at the Herceg Novi Film Festival – Montenegro Film Festival (FFHN-MFF) have begun.

The 38th Herceg Novi Film Festival – Montenegro Film Festival will be held from August 23rd to 29th. The most significant film event of the summer brings the audience more than 60 titles across three competition categories and several non-competition programs, under the slogan “All the Colors of Film.”
Visitors of the FFHN will have the opportunity to see some of the most acclaimed films released in the first eight months of the year, offering an overview of current trends in European and world cinema, the selector of the Feature Film Competition, Vuk Perović noted.
The official opening ceremony is scheduled for August 23rd at 9 p.m. at Kanli Kula Fortress, followed by the opening film – the Montenegrin production Vidra by director Srđan Vuletić and screenwriter Stefan Bošković. The film arrives in Herceg Novi directly from its world premiere, after already attracting international attention during development by winning the Eurimages Award at Cinelink, The Best Pitch award at WEMW, and being selected for the Cinéfondation Atelier program of the Cannes Film Festival.
The Garden of the Nobel Laureate Ivo Andrić’s House will host encounters with documentary films from around the world, curated by director Vladimir Perović.
A new generation of filmmakers will present their works in the Student Film Competition, held this year at a new venue – Mića Pavlović Square in the Old Town, curated by director Sara Stijović.
Special attention will be drawn to the new section titled TV Niche, presented this year as a non-competition program, showcasing the latest achievements in television series production, along with a competitive session of young Montenegrin authors.
The Kino Evropa program, as well as films from the Network of Adriatic Region Festivals, will be screened at Dvorana Park.
At Forte Mare Fortress, the audience will enjoy special screenings dedicated to legends:
• Noise (Buka) – a film portrait of drum virtuoso Dragoljub Đuričić
• Vude, You Have Won (Vude, ti si pobijedio) – about the life and artistic journey of the Academy Award-winning director, screenwriter, animator, and professor Dušan Vukotić
• Haustor – a film about the eponymous cult music band.
One of the special screenings is also reserved for the documentary Stanić, A Century (Stanić, Stoljeće), about the great painter Vojo Stanić, directed by Andro Martinović.
