Biografija

Jovana Bojovic was born in 1989 in Podgorica. She graduated in Dramaturgy from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Cetinje, and obtained her master’s degree in Dramaturgy from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade.

She wrote a number of texts that have been adapted and awarded (Open End, Peace Mission, Djevic Stone, Free Time or Dark is the Light. She wrote the TV series Christmas Uprising, the feature film Wildfires and the short film Overcaming. She published poetry books Mortal Danger (won the first place in the competition Ratković Poetry Evenings, for young poets) and Fog: Visible Points, Novobran (2023).

Her works have been translated into English, Italian, Norwegian, Polish and Greek.

She is an associate professor of Film and Television Screenwriting and associate dean at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Cetinje.

Autorka je više nagrađenih i realizovnaih dramskih tekstova (Otvoren kraj, Mirovna misija, Đevič kamen, Slobodno vrjjeme ili tamno je svijetlo,) i scenaristkinja Tv serije – Božićni ustanak, dugometražnog igranog filma Požari, kao i kratkog igranog filma Nadolaženje. Objavila je knjige poezije S glavom u torbi (prva nagrada na konkursu Ratkovićeve većeri poezije, za mlade pjesnike) i Magla: vidljive tačke, Novobran(2023).

Drame i poezija su joj prevođeni na engleski, italijanski, norveški, poljski i grčki jezik.

Docent je na predmetu Filmski i televizijski scenario i prodekan za nastavu na Fakultetu dramskih umjetnosti na Cetinju.
