Sanja Popović, a former junior champion, is now a tennis coach in Belgrade. Following the breakup of a relationship with a married man, she arrives at her estranged daughter’s home in Montenegro on the verge of a nervous breakdown, attempting to start over. However, she encounters problems there as well. Her daughter’s seemingly orderly life begins to unravel, while Sanja finds herself torn between two men. One pulls her toward the bottom, the other turns his back on her, and the past she has been running from all this time is now catching up with her. Sanja is forced to face herself for the first time in order not to lose her love and family.
Nevio Marasović (Zagreb, 1983) is a film director and screenwriter who graduated in film and television directing from the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb. He has directed six feature films: The Show Must Go On, Vis-à-Vis, Goran, Comic Sans, Even Pigs Go to Heaven and Šlager, as well as the comedy series The Instructor. His films have been screened and awarded at numerous international festivals. He has directed more than 250 commercials across Europe, served as a member of numerous juries, including the International Emmy, and is one of the founders of the Cinehill Film Festival. He also directed the television series Rock Me Gently.
Sandra Mitrović is a Serbian and American film and television director, screenwriter, and producer, best known for her award-winning feature film A Three Floor Comedy (2021) and her work on international television series, including The Librarians: The Next Chapter (2024–2025) and the SYFY series The Ark (2022–2025), which was nominated for a Saturn Award in the Best New Genre Series category. Her films have been screened at festivals worldwide, and her short film Last Call won the National Board of Review award for Best Student Film in 2019. She is the founder and director of the production company Filmland in Belgrade and holds a Master’s degree in screenwriting and directing from Columbia University, New York.
