Elena Kristodoulidou Elena Christodoulidou studied History and History of Art and Archaeology at the University Charles de Gaulle Lille III, France, earning two Master’s degrees and, in 2013, a doctorate in History of Art on contemporary Cypriot art. From 1996 to 1999 she hosted a cinema programme on Cyprus State Television and published film reviews in the press. Since 1994 she has worked at the Cultural Services of the Ministry of Education and Culture as Head of the Cinema and Fine Art Sectors, later promoted to Senior Cultural Officer. She chairs the Cinema Advisory Committee, is a member of the Cyprus Film Commission, president of the SEE Executive Committee (Southeastern Cinema Network), and Cyprus’s official representative at EFAD. She founded Cyprus’s two state film festivals, Cyprus Film Days and the International Short Film Festival of Cyprus, and chairs their Organizing Committee. She has served as jury member at numerous festivals and is a member of the European Film Academy.
