Dejan, a drug addict, is undergoing rehabilitation at a monastery. Gradually, he becomes the right-hand man of the priest who runs the commune. When the priest takes his methods too far, Dejan has to choose between protecting the system and the truth.
Goran grew up in Serbia where he received his BA in film directing from the Academy of Arts in Belgrade. He went on to earn his MFA in Directing from the American Film Institute (AFI) in Los Angeles, where he was awarded The Hollywood Foreign Press and The Richard Frank scholarships. His thesis film WAY IN RYE was nominated for the Student Academy Award for Best Narrative Short. Goran has worked extensively in television, co-creating and directing the acclaimed drama series MORNING CHANGES EVERYTHING for the Serbian national broadcaster RTS. He also directed the period drama BAD BLOOD, and most recently co-created and directed OPERATION SABRE, a series awarded at Canneseries and distributed internationally by Beta Film.
