Sinopsis

A project by students from one class at Sutjeska Primary School, the film The Wounded Man is an emotional story about childhood, friendship, courage, and humanity. After their unit is destroyed, a group of Partisans finds itself stranded in their native region, surrounded by enemies. Facing the brutality of war, they try to escape their desperate situation, while their loyalty is put to the ultimate test.

Director

Marija Zaric and Petar Jovovic were born in Podgorica in 2011. They are former students of Sutjeska Primary School. Marija Zaric is a student at Slobodan Skerović Grammar School, while Petar Jovovic is a student at Petar I Petrović Njegos Middle School. Marija and Petar are the authors of the screenplay and the initiators of the idea for the film The Wounded Man, which the students of Class IX-4 independently created over the course of a year, inspired by their knowledge of literature and history.
