A particular focus of this year’s edition is on the development and networking of film professionals through an industry programme organised by the Film Centre of Montenegro in partnership with the Festival.
Over the course of seven festival days, the third edition of the industry programme Montenegro Film Rendezvous will take place. The platform brings together filmmakers, producers, and decision-makers from the region, Europe, and the world. Rendezvous is conceived as a space where Montenegrin projects can find partners: through presentations of projects in development, one-to-one meetings, and discussions with representatives of funds and festivals, it opens pathways to co-productions and new sources of financing.
With the support of the Embassy of France and the French Institute in Montenegro, the Female Filmmakers workshop will be held on 27 and 28 August, aimed at female directors and producers developing international co-productions. The same partnership has also given rise to the
New African Voices programme, organised in cooperation with the International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF).
The industry programme is complemented by ReActing+, a regional acting workshop and a new module of the ReActing as a Star programme, which will be held on 27 and 28 August with the support of the British Council. Producers from Montenegro and the region will gather from 24 to 26 August for the
EAVE on Demand RE-ACT workshop, as part of the RE-ACT programme, which Montenegro joined this year.
The programme is rounded off by Creative Europe – MEDIA panels, masterclasses, and an Info Day dedicated to the development of television series, taking place on 27 and 28 August.
