Fleeing toward a new life, Rijeka serves as a transition point for groups of migrants. They reside at the railway station until their next journey. All of them encounter Tinka, who fights for better conditions and their safe departure—until she eventually leaves Rijeka herself.
Lucija Brkić (2000) graduated in Cultural Studies from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Rijeka and earned a Master’s degree in Directing from the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb. She is the author of three short documentary films: One Friday Afternoon (Filmaktiv, 2021), Do You Get It Now? (Blank, 2022), and In Transit (ADU, 2024), for which she won the Best Short Film award at ZagrebDox 2024.
