The Network of Festivals in the Adriatic Region (Sarajevo FF, Herceg Novi FF, Zagreb FF, FAF Belgrade, Ljubljana IFF, and Manaki Brothers ICFF) invites students of film academies and related faculties interested in learning about film criticism to apply for a workshop to be held from March 6 to 11 in Herceg Novi.

Applications will be accepted from students of film academies, faculties of visual arts, and faculties of philology and philosophy from Montenegro, Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, and North Macedonia who would like to pursue film criticism.

Interested candidates are requested to submit the following by February 12, 2026: – a short biography – a motivation letter (up to 1,200 characters including spaces; explain your interest in film criticism and list several recent film titles you would write about during the workshop) – a film review of your choice (up to 600 words). The workshop will be led by professional film critics and authors, and upon completion, the most successful works by the participants will be presented at all festivals within the Network of Festivals in the Adriatic Region.
