The feature-length documentary All About the King Named Petar is an intimate biography of acting phenomenon Petar Kralj. Through contemporaries’ testimonies, it reveals the essence of his acting brilliance and distinctive personality that made him beloved – quiet, shy, romantic and extraordinarily talented. Sharing memories of their colleague are Svetlana Bojkovic, Tihomir Stanic, director and daughter Milica Kralj, former ballerina and choreographer, wife Sonja Divac Kralj, as well as former students Aleksandar Stojkovic Piksi, Mirjana Djurdjevic and friends of this great actor.
For more than three decades, Anita Panic has worked as a screenwriter and director, producing over 70 documentary television programmes and films for the national public broadcaster, RTS, many of which have been screened and received awards at European and domestic film festivals. She is the author of several film screenplays and served as executive producer and producer of the short feature film Spleen. As a screenwriter and director, she created two successful television series, Naličje velegrada (The Other Side of the Metropolis), and is also the author of the documentary series Skadarlija – The Vanishing Spirit of Bohemian Life. She has served as a programmer and jury member at several international film festivals. She is the author of four monographs dedicated to Petar Kralj, Milena Dravic, Neda Arneric, and Boris Gortinsky. She is a member of the Association of Film Artists of Serbia and the recipient of the Dusan Duca Stojanovic Award for her contribution to film journalism and monographic publishing.
