After being discharged from the military, Alamdar finds refuge with his grandmother Furuza, who lives alone in the countryside. Furuza once forced her daughter into a loveless marriage, and Alamdar grew up under the burden of that marriage, becoming withdrawn like his father. Thirty years later, he embarks on a journey of self-discovery. During the summer, grandmother and grandson confront their shared past and common traumas.
