Guti (35) and Sig (50) wake up beaten, hungover, and handcuffed to each other on a riverbank near Ljubljana. Sig, clearly a tourist, suffers from memory loss and cannot remember where he comes from or why he is—so he thinks—stuck in Slovakia. Together they set out to find Sig’s passport and his identity, while also working on Guti’s life project: building a river raft that could get his life—shattered by a painful divorce, failed bank loans, ruthless bureaucracy, and numerous bad neighbors—back on its feet.
Miha Hočevar (1963) is a film director and screenwriter. He has directed five feature films, some of which have gained cult status among Slovenian audiences, especially his debut film Jebiga from 2000. His comedies Gremo mi po svoje (2010) and Gremo mi po svoje 2 (2013) rank second and fifth, respectively, on the list of the most-watched films of all time in Slovenian cinemas. His latest project as a co-screenwriter is the television mini-series The Vault (2026), produced by RTV Slovenija.
