Sinopsis

A group of teenagers from a small village in northern Finland pass the long summer evenings by driving around aimlessly. Meanwhile, the older generation of local men have already taken their places at the nearby gas station. But where have all the women gone?

 

 

Director

Inka’s first feature-length documentary, Boys Who Like Girls, has screened at more than 30 international film festivals. Her second feature-length documentary, Golden Land, won the Golden Alexander award at the Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival. She is also the Artistic Director of the DocPoint Helsinki Documentary Film Festival and Head of Content Acquisition at Raina.

 

 

Einari tells stories about human relationships and connection. His works have been screened at festivals such as CPH:DOX, Visions du Réel and Sheffield DocFest. His documentary Karaoke Paradise won the Finnish Jussi Award for Best Documentary of the Year and was shortlisted for the European Film Academy Award for Best Documentary.
