Nedjelja returns to school before graduation, after an absence marked by an event that is not spoken of aloud. With her three closest friends, she spends the turbulent final days of school, while everyone, each from their own fear, wonders what awaits them when everything they have known until then comes to an end.
Maya Janković (25) is a graduate student of Film and TV Directing at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, originally from the Republic of South Africa, raised in Sremski Karlovci. Her short films have been screened at numerous festivals in the region. The film “The End of the World” received an award at the Canon Video Competition “The Reality I Want”.
