The Škrbić family seemingly leads an ordinary life in an apartment in Vidikovac, while in reality, they are obsessed with the impression of success. When they experience a financial collapse, and Senka has already boasted about a summer vacation to the wrong crowd, they devise a plan: they will fake a trip to the seaside by hiding in a nearby forest, sneaking into their own apartment at night. Over the course of ten days, family secrets, betrayals, and intimacy unravel.
Gvozden Đurić graduated in film and theater directing from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad. He is currently a doctoral student at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade and works as an assistant professor at the Academy in Novi Sad. His professional experience includes directing and/or screenwriting for numerous television series and films, including the series Mama i tata se igraju rata 2 (Mum and Dad Are Playing War 2) (six Heart of Sarajevo awards), Mama i tata se igraju rata 3 (Mum and Dad Are Playing War 3), Od vrata do vrata (From Door to Door), Agenti (Agents) (developed for HBO Europe), the feature film and television series Liberta – Rađanje grada (Liberta – The Birth of a City), series Grupa (The Group) (award for best screenplay at the FEDIS festival). He also worked as a second unit director on the series Pasjača, Poseta (The Visit), Kljun (Awake) (Audience Award in the Canneseries program in Cannes, as well as at the Sarajevo Film Festival). He is currently preparing the feature film Slikar svetlosti (Painter of Light), about the painter Sava Šumanović.
