Ljiljana Blagojević (born in 1955 in Zemun) graduated with the highest grade, 10, from the Department of Acting at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, in the class of Professor Milenko Maričić. That same year, she received the Mata Milošević Award as the best student of her generation for her role in Emir Kusturica’s film Do You Remember Dolly Bell?
She has performed in more than 60 theatre productions and appeared in over 50 films, including Do You Remember Dolly Bell?, Evening Bells, The Dagger, The Great Transport, How the Steel Was Tempered, The Smell of Quinces, and The Promise. Her notable television roles include appearances in A Better Life, Bitter Fruits, and The Scent of Rain in the Balkans.
She has received some of the most prestigious awards in the region and beyond. She was a producer of the films The Cousins and Masha, as well as the television drama series Bitter Fruits. She is a leading actress of the Drama Company of the National Theatre in Belgrade and the founder of the Department of Theatre and Film Arts at Slobomir P. University in Bijeljina.
