Yulieth (10-13) faces the challenges of growing up in a wild territory, where natural beauty coexists with the harsh reality of machismo. Her identity, which is still taking shape, is torn between aspirations and dreams on one hand, and the reality in which she lives on the other.
Juana Lotero López – eternal student, feminist, economist, and director. She studied feature film directing at the International School of Film and Television (EICTV) in Cuba. She is the screenwriter, director, and co-producer of the films Fresas Salvajes (2022, premiered at the 61st Cartagena International Film Festival – FICCI), and Dulces Sueños (2020). Her latest short film Niña Chilapa (2025) won the India Catalina Award for Best Colombian Short Film at the 64th edition of the FICCI festival. Her feature film Muchachita Chilapa is currently in production.
