Antonia Kolodro is a director from Santiago, Chile, of Sephardic Jewish descent, with a master’s degree in cinematography from the Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema (Brooklyn College). She lives in New York and heads the video department at the National Domestic Workers Alliance. She was the cinematographer for the film Primera (Tribeca 2021) and director of photography for the film Sal y Cielo, a documentary about lithium mining in Chile. Her film Life Despite Them, filmed on a mobile phone in Palestine, won the Audience Award at the Tampere Film Festival.

Alaa Hatlin is a Palestinian director from Masafer Jatta in the occupied West Bank of Palestine. He works as a physiotherapist and was formerly a footballer. As a human rights activist, he has traveled worldwide speaking about the military occupation of the West Bank, and in 2024, he was a speaker at the Global Conference Against Apartheid in South Africa. His documentary film Life Despite Them (2026) tells a personal story of life in Masafer Jatta and won the Audience Award at the Tampere Film Festival.
